It’s with a heavy heart and a more somber attitude then usual that I join you tonight. When I heard the news late last night that Azazel had left us to move on to his next adventure, I was speechless. I am still in shock. But I’d like to take a moment to reflect on our time together, for which I am ever thankful. Azazel was the embodiment of Resolute culture. Quick to offer a helping hand, or crack a joke in group. He was the perfect raider in my opinion. He listened intently, asked questions when he had them, and fell into a rhythm as we tackled encounter after encounter, always with a positive attitude and a smile in his voice. You will notice the empty spot in group 8 tonight, Azazel’s spot for the last 3 or so years. Out of respect for our friend, I will not ask anyone to fill the unfillable void left behind. I encourage you all to share stories of your times with Azazel, and remember them fondly, as I am sure he would have wanted you to. I would like to take a moment of silence as we begin the raid to remember Azazel, friend, family, guildie, Resolute.
